Mooeti: African Inspired Concept Art

A rtur Sadlos is an art director, concept artist and illustrator who shared his extensive latest project with us.

My project Mooeti I’m developing draws a lot of inspiration from African culture. I love the African patterns, colors, and designs. Ancient weapons and costumes are the things I’m looking when I’m creating my distant, alien worlds. Also, African legends and stories play a role in developing my project. They are weird and strange and I love them as a starting point for exploring ideas. This particular artwork is inspired a lot by orientalists who loved to paint Africa. It is reminiscent in all the decorations, architecture and characters outfit. Tribal and organic look are my goals to achieve in a creative process.”
