Raised from the outskirts of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, Akanyijuka Evans also known as artguage is a young enthusiastic graphic artist whose passion had a great focus on using photo manipulation to portray various aspects from his life. This includes his own emotions, observations and the knowledge from the environment he has been raised in.
โ I found I could say things with creativity and through manipulating photos that I had no words for.โ
My curiosity drew me close to portraying some of the pressing issues in our environment that people gave little attention to. Digital art gave me a platform to paint the world with my thoughts and perceptions on mostly socio-economic issues and my own emotions with hope that it will inspire and educate someone out there.โ
