“Is Inarunyonga your real name?” is a question I get asked often.
Well, It is NOT.
In fact, “Inarunyonga” is known by most burundians as a legendary female character in our traditional literature & folktales. Coming to think of it, the stories we’ve heard of Inarunyonga -the legend- mostly depict some of her personality traits and not much of her physical appearance.
