930km African Odyssey

The 930km African Odyssey also known as A Short Walk in The Gambian Bush Photoseries is a rare look at the Gambian landscape.

The first ever circumnavigation, by foot, of The Gambia, West Africa. Featuring award-winning photojournalist, Jason Florio, photography producer, Helen Jones-Florio, three Gambians, two donkeys and a cart!

The journey begun in November-December 2009 and includes a rare look at the daily lives and portraits of Gambians. If you are interested in learning more about the journey, behind the scenes and audio/video footage check out their blog.
