AACDD Call for Entries: Media Room

Submit your work to the African & African-Caribbean Design Diaspora Festival 2011 at the Bargehouse

The African & African-Caribbean Design Diaspora Festival 2011 is a magnificent showcase of black creativity throughout the creative disciplines, taking place from September 9-25 at the Bargehouse, London.
The AACDD is calling digital media artists, animators and directors to showcase their work in the “Media Room” during the AACDD’s three weeks festival period.

Submitted can be any moving image of any length.

Documentary

Files need to be provided as .mov or .flv

The submission needs to include the artwork’s title, a screenshot, the artist/designer’s biography (120 words) and contact details.

Jepchumba is an AFRICAN DIGITAL ARTIST and DIGITAL ENTHUSIAST who works hard to combine her two passions: Digital Media and Africa. Originally from Kenya, she has lived around the world developing her interest in philosophy, art and technology. An African digital artist, Jepchumba loves experimenting with motion, sound and various digital effects and techniques and has an extensive background in digital art, web design and development, audio/visual production and social media strategies.
