Visualizing Colonization

Visualizing Colonization

A campaign for Amnesty International developed by Leo Burnett Lisbon and Lobo, Brazillian motion graphic studios, portrays the brutality and violence of the colonization of Africa and other parts of the world. This moving illustration portrays the darkest moments of modern history.

The short animation features woodcut illustrations and b&w photographs in a collage like style. The project seamlessly travels through history highlighting that dark side of the human condition.
